Teaching Projects
My journey in education began with a deep love for the arts that took root in elementary school—learning to play the trombone and taking pictures of my Barbies. As I explored photography in high school and taught myself to play guitar, art school solidified my path. This led to a fulfilling career in museum education at MOPA, where I had the joy of bringing photography into elementary classrooms and designing impactful lessons, curricula, and exhibitions.
Teaching has always been more than a profession for me—it's a way to connect, inspire, and empower. From teaching high school photography to helping adults master their DSLR cameras, coaching bands at the Rock n' Roll Camp for Gxrls San Diego to serving as a media arts resource teacher in San Diego Unified School District, I've dedicated my career to fostering creativity in others.
In this collection, you'll find videos and educational projects that have shaped my career and the lives of my students.
